Legends of Tomorrow: Captain Hunter or Captain Lance?

By: Gabrielle Muniz

Rip Hunter and Sara Lance both make great leaders of the Legends of Tomorrow. They can navigate a time ship with relative ease, defend themselves, and think on their feet. This is what made them work so well together, but after Rip seemingly died at the beginning of season two, Sara was left in charge. On top of it all, there are new members to help with the cause: the Justice Society of America (JSA) and Nate Heywood, also known as “Steel.” Many things changed in the team’s dynamic, and some can say that the team is lost without Rip. By: Sam Miller

I got into the Veronica Mars world a little late, having started watching during its premiere of the third—and unfortunately last—season. I stumbled upon it on accident, having left the TV on after watching an episode of Gilmore Girls. However, each week after that, my mom and I would leave the TV on and keep watching. With that being said I’ve noticed the media and, quite frankly, fans of television have done some characters a great disservice. While we all know of these popular friendships: Meredith and Cristina, Blair and Serena, the women of Sex and the City, Brooke and Peyton, and so on, there are a few that aren’t as talked about. Here are some of my personal favorites. Continue reading
