Legends of Tomorrow: Captain Hunter or Captain Lance?

By: Gabrielle Muniz

Rip Hunter and Sara Lance both make great leaders of the Legends of Tomorrow. They can navigate a time ship with relative ease, defend themselves, and think on their feet. This is what made them work so well together, but after Rip seemingly died at the beginning of season two, Sara was left in charge. On top of it all, there are new members to help with the cause: the Justice Society of America (JSA) and Nate Heywood, also known as “Steel.” Many things changed in the team’s dynamic, and some can say that the team is lost without Rip. To spare all of you from every thought that has crossed my mind, I narrowed my thoughts down to a top 20. Spoilers are ahead. You have been warned. Continue reading

Although storytelling is more complexly portrayed through the reading experience, television sparks a similar joy in me that reading and writing do. I love the different ways in which the writers develop their plot lines and the progression of characters and their respective storylines. With that being said I’ve noticed the media and, quite frankly, fans of television have done some characters a great disservice. While we all know of these popular friendships: Meredith and Cristina, Blair and Serena, the women of Sex and the City, Brooke and Peyton, and so on, there are a few that aren’t as talked about. Here are some of my personal favorites. Continue reading
